Will of Jane Sterry

I Jane Sterry the wife of David Chaplin Sterry of Goldmines Hotel Inglewood Street Ironbark Bendigo in the Colony of Victoria Member of The Legislative Assembly of the said Colony hereby revoke all testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. I appoint The Equity Trustees Executors and Agency Company Limited (hereinafter called the said Company) carrying on business at four hundred and eighty one Bourke Street West Melbourne in the said Colony to be the Executor and Trustee of this my Will. I devise and bequesth to the said Company my house property situate in Bank Street East South Melbourne in the said Colony at present occupied by one George Hunt Moss upon trust to allow the said George Hunt Moss to occupy and enjoy the same during his life should he so desire and in the event of the said George Hunt Moss not desiring to occupy the said property upon trust to let the same and to pay the net rents and profits thereof to the said George Hunt Moss and upon the death of the said George Hunt Moss I direct the said Company to allow my son John Chaplin Sterry to occupy the said property during his life should he so desire and in the event of the said John Chaplin Sterry not not desiring to occupy the said property upon trust to let the same and to pay the net rents and profits thereof to the said John Chaplin Sterry and upon the death of the said John Chaplin Sterry I direct the said Company to sell the said property and divide the net proceeds equally between my sons Alfred Sterry and William Sterry and their heirs. I give devise and bequeath the rest and residue of my real and personal estate to the said Company in trust to convert the same into money or so much thereof as shall not consist of money and after payment thereout of my just and lawful debts funeral and testamentary expenses to pay the residue to the said John Chaplin Sterry and his heirs. In witness whereof I the said Jane Sterry have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this twenty first day of April in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety four.
